Help Emma Save the Vaquitas
Help Save the Vaquita
The world’s smallest porpoise is running out of time.
There are only 7-9 vaquitas left in the wild.
A Little Girl With a Big Heart
When Emma was just four years old, she learned about a tiny porpoise in the Gulf of California that was in danger of disappearing forever.
She wanted to help.
So Emma did what any four-year-old with a big heart might do—she opened a lemonade stand.
Emma’s Lemonade Stand
When Emma was four, she created her own fundraiser to help protect the vaquita.
She made lemonade, created special “Lemon Vaquitas” and “Lemon Bubbles,” cookies (vegan & gluten free, of course) and donated the proceeds to conservation efforts helping these remarkable animals.
It was a little lemonade stand with a very big purpose.
And Emma hasn’t forgotten the vaquita.

Emma Now

Now, Emma is on the verge of becoming a Bat Mitzvah. For her Mitzvah Project, she is trying to raise money for the very same cause!
She’s asking for YOUR help! Please consider JOINING EMMAS FUNDRAISING GROUP to help save these cute, endangered animals with her!
Why Save the Vaquita?
The vaquita is the world’s smallest porpoise and lives only in the northern Gulf of California.
It is also one of the most endangered marine mammals on Earth.
Vaquitas are particularly vulnerable to becoming accidentally trapped in fishing nets, where they can drown.
There are only 7-9 vaquitas remaining.
And that means every one matters.
