For Teacher Appreciation week, my toddler’s school asked families to bring in food for breakfast or lunch. The school is thankfully already gluten and dairy free (and I think it’s cute when they ‘remind’ me, LOL!)
Anyway, my RosemaryBlueberry Scones recipe popped into my head! So I made this version (along with another recipe plus fresh fruit), with enough for the 30+ teachers and therapists at my daughters preschool! Verdict? Everyone was asking me for the recipe when I went to pick her up! 🙂
This would be an incredible addition to a high tea! What I love about this recipe is you can have a little fun with it… very rare for a baking recipe. For my Young Living Essential Oils workshop, I did blueberry and rosemary, but for school I did this orange & chocolate chip version.
Can’t wait to see what everyone else thinks. I know loved them!

Orange Glaze
Ingredients
- 1-2 cups confectionary sugar
- Juice of 1 orange
OR - 2 tbsp water & 1 drop YOUNG LIVING orange essential oil
Directions
- Mix to combine until desired thickness
*For a thicker consistency, add more sugar. You want it to drizzle off a spoon, and not be so wet it slides off the scone.
definitely worth eating and making part of our kitchen repertoire. Thank you for the thoughtful and delicious yummies!
Thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! 🙂
