Not sure what to get Mom (or your Baby Mama/Wife/Woman in your life) this year? I always get asked for suggestions of gifts for Mom that have a healthier slant, so…
Here are a few gift ideas that will feed her Mind, Body & Spirit!
And to all you beautiful, loving, hard-working mothers out there…
Happy Mother’s Day!
Mother’s Day Gift Guide!
Made out of recycled fibers, Rothy’s are the most eco-friendly shoe on the market. I LOVE mine (I have a rounded black pair) and wear them often and always get compliments on them! 🙂

ORGANIC SLEEP/BATH WEAR
Organic cotton bathrobes, sleepwear, bedding and more from Coyuchi are crazy comfortable AND made with organic and sustainable fibers. Win/win! This is the only bathrobe I have ever had and it is the BEST! I LOVE my robe! (it’s SO soft!)
REJUVENATING SOAKS AT HOME
Magnesium Bath Salts are a great way to help Mom make the most of a relaxing bath! Magnesium helps you sleep better, relieve aches and pains and relax! I use about 1/2 a bag per bath and try to take one about once a week – I add in some essential oils too!. (Did you know that most people are actually deficient in magnesium?!) Fast, easy and cheap but SOOOOO relaxing!
KITCHEN GADGETS SHE PROBABLY DOESN’T HAVE YET:
Help Mom save the Earth with a reusable stainless steel straw! I’ve been using mine for YEARS! Plastic straws are SO bad for the environment but those of us who drink smoothies or lemon water or just wear lipstick and don’t want to wear it off so fast, go for the straw! Use THIS one! 🙂
A Whipped Cream dispenser for instant healthy coconut whip! So… this is my current kitchen obsession. Seriously, ask my daughters who are obsessed now as well. A can of coconut cream, few drops of stevia and we are off! It’s strawberry season here in LA (BEST time ever to go to a Farmer’s market if you ask me! We have the most AMAZING strawberries I’ve tasted in my life! You know the kind that you bite into and they taste like pure sugar and are red all the way through? Those!) so we’ve been having strawberries and whipped cream a lot! But I love topping lattes and hot coco with it too … and desserts and … my finger! YUM!
WORKOUT MUST HAVE: A Glass Water Bottle!
Moms are so busy, they sometimes forget proper hydration. I know, I’ve been there! Now, I take this beautiful glass water bottle everywhere I go! It’s easy to get in all of your ‘glasses’ of water this way – reusable and refillable! I love the look and I love that’s it’s glass. It’s free of BPA, all those nasty toxins and is easy to clean! Warning: Your Mom ‘might’ make new friends by toting this attractive hydration must-have around! I’ve made MANY new friends in my yoga and exercise classes because it seems to be such a good conversation starter! A water bottle! WHO KNEW!? 🙂
A cool mist diffuser instantly transforms your home or office into a spa-like oasis! Especially when combined with Young Living essential oils! We have one of these in every room in our home. And don’t tell her please but… this is what I’m getting MY Mom this year. She’s already a member of Young Living but she’s been telling me how she needs a new diffuser. I think she’ll be VERY pleasantly surprised! It just arrived today so I need to wrap it! So excited to give it to her! 🙂
HER OWN MINI SPA (PLUS NATURAL PERFUME, HEALING FOR WHAT AILS HER EMOTIONALLY & PHYSICALLY AND MORE) : ESSENTIAL OILS!
Speaking of Young Living… 🙂 Sometimes a full-time working mom, or even a new mom, can’t get to a massage or spa so easily (although I recommend both!) but you can make your own steam/sauna shower at home with these awesome essential oils! Try a few drops of eucalyptus in the shower or lavender in the bath, or better yet: make your own Bath Salts! Voila! Her own at-home spa for whenever she needs to relax! 🙂 Seriously, these little bottle of magic have changed my life. I can’t imagine even being a mom without them. They help ME (with physical, mental, emotional health) but also are great for the babies/kids too! They are amazing for pretty much anything that comes your way to stress, anxiety, colds/flus, back aches, middle of the night fevers, tummy issues, and SO much more!
Young Living essential oils ART Skin Care line
I always get complimented on my skin. In my workshops I joke and tell people I’m really 85. 😉 But when people DO hear my real age they are actually really shocked. Hmmm… must be what I use on my skin!
Young Living essential oils Savvy Minerals make up line
If you want to start small… the MUST have’s are the lipgloss and foundation. The lipgloss is infused with their peppermint essential oil (not ‘too’ much but JUST the exact right amount!) It’s AMAZING and gorgeous colors. My favorite lipgloss ever! And the foundation powder takes away my shine fast so I can run out the door to drop one girl off at school and take the other to baby group.
Those are the 2 I have time for! But if YOU have older (or no) kids, please… use more. This vegan and organic line is great! (and let me know what colors I should get and I’ll use it when they are in high school… hoping I have more time then, lol!) :)-
HEALTHY EATS AND MORE
Thrive Market is a great place to find organic and gluten-free ingredients at 20-30% off retail!
This makes THIS Mom’s life so much easier! I order online when the baby is napping or when I have a free second between meetings and it arrives at my door and the prices ROCK. Need I say more?
A COOKBOOK TO MAKE HER LIFE EASIER:
My Kick Your Sugar Addiction e-book!
I know as a Mom, I’m always on the lookout for easy and yummy ways to keep excess sugar out of my kids diet. Really though, these are easy and yummy ways for EVERYONE to eat in a way that promotes better health, more energy, clearer skin and better sleep. The gift that keeps on giving, for sure!
GIVE THE GIFT OF LEARNING
Some Mom’s are looking for a career change. Others just want to learn more. Others NEED to harness their amazing suppressed passion for all things health and wellness! Some just need a little nudge and getting THIS gift might just be it! Helping someone, help others sounds like one incredible gift to me!

FRESH FLOWERS & PRODUCE YEAR ROUND: Flowers, Fruit Trees or Veggie Seeds!
As a kid I would always buy my Mom perennial flowers at my school’s Mothers’ Day plant sale like petunias (pictured), pansies, marigolds, tulips and daffodils. She loved getting them and planting them in our flower garden in the back yard! I just bought my first lemon tree, always have an herb garden and have a bunch of seed packets I plan to plant this weekend! Give the gift of gardening so she’ll have flowers, herbs and fresh fruits & veggies, year round! 🙂
