So after the year we’ve had, I would guess (at least, speaking from my personal experience), every Mom would like a break. Honestly, a vacation. Truly. Desperately needed. But that might be a tall order for a Hallmark holiday. 😉 (In fact this post is late because not 1, not 2 but all 3 kids were up at all different times tonight making it very challenging to finish and send this out!)
A vacation, or even one night off, is not in the cards for me personally (unless anyone reading this wants a sleepover with 3 ADORABLE but completely dependent kids?! LOL!), and might not for some other hard working, exhausted Moms out there either. So I came up with a list that might pamper her, nurture her, replenish her and at least give her a small break.
As a super busy Mom of 3, I wanted to share the products I use everyday that help me in different ways. Some keep me healthy, some are luxurious and are part as my self care but either way, they keep me going. Some times it’s the small moments, that lead to a better whole.
Here is an example of my day and how I use these items to really make a difference in my life. I start my morning using Osea‘s ocean cleanser, sea vitamin boost mist and hyaluronic sea serum. It’s fast and easy but I never miss this step before putting on sunscreen! I apply a few Young Living essential oil blends: Joy over my heart, Stress Away to my wrists and neck and Thieves to the bottom of my feet. Then I have a mug of warm lemon water and I follow that with the Pique liposomal Vitamin C. Then I slip on my Rothy‘s (I don’t have time to tie shoes! LOL!) and take the girls to school. For an afternoon pick me up (if I can make it that long! Sometimes I have it earlier in the day.) I make a Pique Sun Goddess Matcha latte. It’s just what I need to get me through the rest of the day. Then before dinner, I try to sneak in an infrared sauna session with my Higher Dose sauna blanket while the kids are watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. After that I take a quick shower, use my Osea skin care products and drink an Organifi green juice as my binder (to bind and take out all the extra toxins released by the sauna) but often have to share with the kids since once they see the green juice, they want some! After the kids go down to bed (we diffuse Young Living’s Peace & Calming essential oil for everyone in the evening!), my husband and I enjoy an Organifi Gold latte (it’s like a turmeric latte) or Four Sigmatic Mushroom Hot Cacao and then get ready for bed. I use some Osea (depends on my mood, which serum or oil I use) and then I use my gua sha tool from Wilding Beauty. Before getting into bed I apply my Young Living lip balm (grapefruit is my favorite!) and spritz Osea’s Vagus Nerve spray over my bed. This routine works for me – except for the occasional sauna session, nothing I mentioned takes long but packs loads of benefits and really helps me maximize the time I have.
