Green tea has powerful antioxidants to keep your skin (and the rest of you!) healthy and youthful-looking. Hynt uses Camellia Sinensis (green tea) extract in several of their skincare products for just this reason. But green tea (and matcha in particular) has L-theanine to balance out the caffeine and give you a focused and sustained energy boost, meaning you don’t get the caffeine spike and crash like a cup of coffee would give you. Matcha also has been clinically shown to aid weight loss and reduce LDL cholesterol.
Matcha is great on its own as a tea, but equally delicious in other creations, like this green smoothie!

Matcha Smoothie (Vegan & Gluten Free)
Ingredients:
- 1½ cups almond milk
- ½ cup frozen green grapes
- 1 small frozen banana
- 1 tbsp chia
- 2 tsp matcha powder
- 1 handful ice
Directions:
- Add all ingredients to a Vitamix or blender
- Blend
- Enjoy!
