I don’t have one. I have TWO Hiamalayan salt lamps! 🙂 These are my favorite lamps EVER!!! They make any bedroom glow and instantly create a sense of calm. Salt lamps release negative ions when warmed by the lightbulb inside. This has SO many amazing benefits – it cleans the air, kills bacteria and mold, and uplift the spirits, and can help fight SAD (Seasonal Affect Disorder).
When I got pregnant, I really focused on making my home and environment less toxic. My first move was getting rid of my toxic plastic containers! My collection was filled with take-out containers that I’m sure weren’t BPA-free, or anything close to eco-friendly. I got rid of every single one and replaced them with a BPA-free plastic set. Those didn’t stack well, and there’s been research coming out about some of the BPA alternatives in plastics. So I ditched those and bought this set. It changed my life! No joke! I am OBSESSED. They stack like a DREAM, and the glass is easy to clean. My cabinets are SO neat! Honestly, I love these. They should hire me as their spokesmodel.
I used Young Living essential oils every day of my pregnancy, used them while I was giving birth, and continue to this day. Give the gift of health by empowering someone to be able to heal themselves (physically, mentally and emotionally) in a way that is safe, natural and holistic! There is pretty much an oil for anything! 🙂 For full disclosure: I am a Young Living partner. (And I have an AMAZING team… made up of some of my best friends, relatives, colleagues and others I’ve never even met!) I joined because I really trust and believe in this company.
I have an under-sink filter for my kitchen and a shower filter for my shower, but I had nothing for my daughter’s bath. Until I found this nifty thing! It fits over the faucet and filters as I fill the bath, no advanced plumbing required 🙂
The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing by Marie Kondo. Until someone hires me a professional organizer, declutter-er or stylist (or all 3!) this book will have to do (and hopefully works!). I will keep you posted, but so far, so interesting… and it’s been recommended to me by like, EVERYONE.
