Since I grew up with really bad allergies (read more about this in my story) and was highly allergic to dogs and cats, we had rabbits as pets growing up. We had about 8 throughout my entire childhood (not at the same time!). When I moved out, I adopted my own from a shelter in Los Angeles. After over 14 years together, he passed away this January. I’m still heartbroken and miss him but so grateful for our time together and that he got to meet my daughter and vice versa. They loved each other so much and she was the last to pet him before he passed.
